He is quiet, willing & sure footed. He has been ridden in the mountains and used to gather cattle. Everything he does is smooth and with a good attitude. Don’t let his age fool you, he is easy going and more whoa than go. Sierra truly just wants to please his rider, he is up for any job on the ranch and handles it with the best attitude. He has never offered to buck or be humpy, can lay off for months and moves off like he was just ridden. He is blessed with good hard feet, he has never needed shoes but stands well for the farrier to be trimmed. Sierra is hobble broke, loads into & backs out of a trailer, has been necked with a line of horses for hunting and gets along well with others in pasture. This is a great horse who will excel in whatever direction or discipline you take him in. " |
